About This Site
This site compares 48 bookable Pompeii experiences, from guided walks in the excavations to Vesuvius hikes and Amalfi day trips. Every price, rating and review count comes straight from the live listing, and every park fact is read off official sources.
The Editorial Desk
There is no named author here, no local persona and no borrowed voice. The site is written by an editorial desk working from published sources: operator listings, the park's official pages and the timetables that transit operators publish. Nobody here claims to have taken a tour, walked the excavations or eaten anywhere in Pompei. If a statement cannot be traced back to a listing or an official page, it does not run.
Checking The Numbers We Publish
Every rating, review count and from-price here is the booking platform's own published figure, re-pulled single-locale at build. Where sources disagree on a number, that number is left out rather than guessed. Park facts, from the 20,000-visitors-a-day cap to the 30x30x15 cm bag limit, come from the official pages: pompeiisites.org, the Herculaneum and Vesuvius park sites, UNESCO. Ticketing changes on 1 January 2027, when a single EUR 25 ticket takes effect, so no current price is written as permanent. Unsourced figures stay off the page.
How This Site Earns Its Keep
Some links here lead to booking pages. When a reader books through one of them, the site earns a small percentage of the sale at no extra cost to the reader. That arrangement never decides which tours appear or how they are described; ranking rests on the published figures alone. Full detail sits on the disclosure page.
Where We Draw The Line
No invented figure appears here: no review count, price or duration that a listing does not publish. There is no fake scarcity, no countdown, no paid placement dressed as a recommendation. No first-person claim is made that the desk cannot honestly stand behind, and no study is cited that this site did not run. The buried city is treated as history, not as a thrill, and nothing from the eruption is repackaged as safety advice.
