Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains, in plain terms, how pompeiitravel.guide makes money. Some links to tours and tickets carry commission, and this sets out exactly how that arrangement works and where it applies.

How We Get Paid

Tour links are the main earner. Every listing on this site, from the guided walks among the ruins to Vesuvius hikes, Herculaneum visits, wine tastings on the slopes, cooking classes and the long Amalfi Coast day trips, points to a live booking page run by a travel-booking partner. Complete a booking there and this site receives a commission. Transfers and shuttles work the same way. If a link takes you into a booking flow, treat it as an affiliate link. Links to the archaeological park's official pages or to the regional railway's own site are plain pointers and earn nothing.

What Earns Nothing

Plenty here makes no money. The pay-what-you-want Naples walks carry no affiliate arrangement and no upfront price. Links to the park's official ticketing, to public squares and churches, and to EAV's own pages for Circumvesuviana and Campania Express details are plain pointers. They appear alongside the paid listings, not tucked behind them. The advice would read the same if every affiliate link were removed tomorrow.

What Money Does Not Change

Which tours appear here, and in what order, is an editorial decision. No operator pays for a place in our guides, and no listing can buy a better position. Ratings, review counts, from-prices and durations are the published figures shown on each live booking page, reported exactly as we find them. Where a listing omits a duration or an operator name, we leave the gap rather than fill it. Free options, like the pay-what-you-want Naples walks, are listed on merit beside paid tours.

Questions about any of this can go to the contact page. How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.
